February Favourites

Hi everyone!

I thought I might share with you some of my favourite things from February (mmm, I know, I’m a teensy bit late – whoops!) You know the deal: all of these products I purchased with my own money –  this post is in no way sponsored; I’m simply sharing these things because I really liked them, not to make money for companies. With that over, let’s get cracking!

Movie: The Duff.

Lordy lord, this movie is SO good. Definitely one of my new favourites, it had a very ‘Easy A’ type feel. It has a lot of drama, lot of romance and a lot of comedy – exactly what makes an awesome movie, in my opinion! It’s probably not a ‘date’ type movie; more the type of movie that you would watch with your girlfriends at a sleepover, whilst eating chocolate and popcorn and wearing sweats. PS. The main guy is so hot – definitely an added bonus 😉

Food: Chicken Chipotle Avocado Sandwiches from Earl of Sandwich

I discovered Earl of Sandwich when I was in Orlando this month, and became totally addicted to their Chicken Chipotle Avocado sandwiches – now that I’m home I’m missing them so much! (Is that pathetic? Yes). They were basically this weird focaccia cross turkish type bread layered with chicken, avocado, bacon, lettuce, cheddar cheese and chipotle sauce. I pretty much ate them for lunch and dinner nearly every day.

Book: The Boy Next Door by Katie Van Ark

I loved this book! The book is about Maddy and Gabe, two teenagers who have been best friends ever since they were little, and are also ice skating partners. Neither wants to complicate their ice skating relationship by getting together, but both are secretly in love with each other and discover the magic of what could happen if they let complications to occur and allow themselves to fall in love. The whole book is gorgeous, but the ending is what had me swooning!

Store: Hot Topic

I’m so jealous of anyone who lives near a Hot Topic. Why have I never been blessed with the amazingness of Hot Topic?! I spent so much money there, it’s ridiculous, but #noregrets… Haha!

Beauty: Beauty Blender

This weird very expensive tear drop sponge had me cynical at first – after all, what is all the hype (and price) about? Cut to one day, when I found myself impulse buying it at Sephora, and now I’m such a convert. I don’t know why exactly or the science behind it, but for some reason my make up looks flawless when I use it and crap when I don’t, so totally worth it in my opinion…. And in 60 years you’ll probably be finding me use the exact same make up crusted beauty blender, because there’s no way I’m paying that much for another one!

Hair: Flower Crowns

I was totally loving flower crowns this month. I felt like they added a very hippy-festival type element to my outfit, and I loved feeling like a flower fairy whilst wearing one!

So, that’s me for today! What have you been loving lately? Do you love any of the same things as I do? Let me know in the comments!

Today’s post playlist was all Kelly Clarkson, particularly:
