The name of this blog, “never let the fear…” is inspired from a quote from the movie, “A Cinderella Story”. In the movie, written on the wall of a diner, is the quote, “never let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game”.
I really like this quote – mainly, because I use it as an excuse for all the crazy things I’ve done. It’s my version of YOLO. It’s part of the reason I got the courage to seek a blogging job for Babble.com. I’ve done other things too, because of it, but they’re too embarrassing to reveal – just yet.
So who am I? I’m an eighteen year old girl from Australia. I have no idea what I want to do with my life; but who really does at 18? I’m doing a Bachelor of Arts at university, studying Psychology, Criminology, Creative Writing and History (yes, history).
I recently just went overseas – all by myself. I loved it, and am planning on going again… Once I have enough money, that is. I love Paris, New York and Disney, trashy teenage fiction, romantic comedies, and can’t function properly without coffee.
What I want to do? Travel. The Disney College Program. Write a novel whilst sitting at a cafe in Greenwich Village, or a cafe opposite the Eiffel Tower, drinking obscene amounts of skinny Mochas and eating raspberry and white chocolate scones.
